Montreal House is located a stone's throw away from Canada Water Library.
This video was taken while under the shade of the structure of the Canada Water Library. It was starting to rain! At about 0:18, you can see Surrey Quays Shopping Centre in the distance, I will be walking there later that day.
There is the library. It does look a little odd shaped, doesn't it? I would be going inside later.
Inside Canada Water Library. On the ground floor, there was this cafe.
This library was opened on 28th Nov 2011, a relatively new addition to the neighbourhood.
Two storey library, run by Southwark Council.
The flight of stairs upstairs.
The cafe from the stairs (looking down).
Shelves of books.
At the very top section, there were rows of seats for people to read and do work. Many brought their own laptops and notebooks.
Looking out the window - there was Montreal house.
The cafe again. I was there late about 4pm in the afternoon, and there wasn't much left to eat. So I had some coffee.
There is the menu, and the prices.
After the coffee break, I headed over to the shopping complex.
BHS department store.
Pharmacy.
The Body Shop.
Trying to figure out which one to buy for my wife.
A Burger King, but I didn't eat there this evening.
A very useful Tesco Extra.
There is a lot happening at SE 16 area. This area has undergone rapid changes and will have further developments. Stay tuned!
Thanks for viewing!
